Professor Gabriel Emerson has left his position at the University of Toronto to embark on a new life with his beloved Julianne. Together, he’s confident that they can face any challenge. And he’s eager to become a father.
But Julianne’s graduate program threatens Gabriel’s plans, as the pressures of being a student become all consuming. When she is given the honor of presenting an academic lecture at Oxford, Gabriel is forced to confront her about the subject of her presentation – research that conflicts with his own. And in Oxford, several individuals from their past appear, including an old nemesis intent on humiliating Julia and exposing one of Gabriel’s darkest secrets.

STEPH'S REVIEW
5 BREATHTAKING STARS!
5 BREATHTAKING STARS!
“Have you ever made love in an orchard before?”
Her eyes widened and she shook her head.
“Then I’m glad I’m your first.”
She tightened her grip on his hand.
“You’re my last, Gabriel. My only.”
And so the enchanting love story of Professor Gabriel Emerson and his beloved wife, Julianne continues. At the end of Gabriel’s Rapture I felt the story was complete and although I was willing to let this fabulous couple ride off into the sunset. I did find myself aching for more…. More romance…. More twists and turns….. More Professor!
You can’t imagine my excitement when I heard there would be a third book! Literally, the minute it hit my kindle I started reading it!
The growth of both characters through the series was so refreshing. When we first met the Professor he was self-absorbed and arrogant beyond belief. Julianne was living day to day moving through her undergraduate program. She had been badly hurt both physically and emotionally by two fundamental people. Through their love, they each discover personal strength and happiness.
“For you, my love, I would endeavor to pluck the stars from the sky, only to shower them at your feet.”
Even though they are deeply in love, Gabriel and Julianne are newlyweds and find themselves facing their fair share of trials and tribulations.
“I’ve hurt you, again and again. Yet you’re so giving. Why?”
“Because I love you. Because I have compassion for you. Because I forgive you.”
The supporting characters played a huge role in Gabriel’s Redemption. We not only had glimpses of them in Gabriel and Julianne’s life but we followed them into their own personal lives. We were able to see their struggles and their stories coming full circle.
Sylvain Reynard gracefully wraps his words around us as he weaves the final chapters in this amazing trilogy. You will find comfort and closer but beyond that you will feel fulfilled. Will we miss Gabriel and Julianne? Yes, of course BUT we will be seeing them again as they have cameo appearances in SR’s upcoming paranormal romance, The Raven.
AUTHOR BIO
I'm interested in the way literature can help us explore aspects of the human condition - particularly suffering, sex, love, faith, and redemption. My favourite stories are those in which a character takes a journey, either a physical journey to a new and exciting place, or a personal journey in which he or she learns something about himself/herself.
I'm also interested in how aesthetic elements such as art, architecture, and music can be used to tell a story or to illuminate the traits of a particular character. In my writing, I combine all of these elements with the themes of redemption, forgiveness, and the transformative power of goodness.
I try to use my platform as an author to raise awareness about the following charities: Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation, WorldVision, Alex's Lemonade Stand, and Covenant House. For more information, see my Twitter account.
