Owning Violet is the first book in the Fowler Sisters series and IT! WAS! FABULOUS! 

I have been jonesing for a book like this for awhile. I love when two characters collide, bringing the best AND worst qualities out of one another, that is exactly what you get in Owning Violet!!

Violet has been turning a blind eye to her “perfect” boyfriend’s wondrous ways for years. She practically stuck her head in the sand always assuming he would be popping the question any day. After a disastrous dinner where said JERK drops a bomb instead of popping the question, Violet is heartbroken and left vulnerable.

Ryder wants everything that Zachary has, he wants his girl and the new position in London, and he is willing to do anything to take it all from him. This starts out as a game for Ryder but before long the tables are turned and Ryder struggles dealing with the depth of the emotions he begins to feel.

I may want to Own Violet... but I’m afraid she might already own me.

Ryder's dirty mouth was the show stopper for me. He knew just how to get under Violet’s perfect prim and proper exterior. Yes, at times he was a real jerk but since we are blessed with his POV you see his struggles and he will win over your heart just as he did mine.

There's just something about her shy, reserved personality that drives me out of my fucking mind. That makes me want to drive her out of her fucking mind.

Ryder wore a mask, a mask that rarely revealed the true person beneath it. His attitude was all a facade, and Violet saw that, she was able to see the good in Ryder.

“Don’t fight it,” I whisper. “Don’t argue, don’t tell me what I did was wrong. You’re right. I handled it all wrong. I fucked up. Letting you walk out of my life was a huge mistake.”

This is the sexiest book written by Monica Murphy and it was immensely captivating! It gave you Alpha Males, Steamy Sex Scenes and a whole lot of drama. This is a story of couples finding love in the most unexpected places.

This dual POV 4 star read is lengthy at times but I promise it is so worth it! Grab it today!
