REVIEW

Yet another fabulous novel by the very talented Samantha Young! Hero is a standalone romance about a rich CEO with loads of family baggage and a very spunky heroine. The story line up is not something new BUT Ms. Young does a great job bringing her own element into it - it is a quick read and one I feel you will enjoy!

Alexa Holland is a very talented, strong, hard working woman that finds herself in a predicament...  she must ask the one person that despises her for a job. Yes times are tough but Alexa is tougher. I! LOVED! HER!!! She called it like she saw it and never let Caine Carraway off the hook!

Caine Carraway is a very dark and guarded man. He suffered two tragic losses as a child that set wheels in motion for years to come. Caine is a ruthless business man who has fought tooth and nail to get where he is so it is no surprise that business always comes first. But when Alexa enters his life be becomes unfocused and very hard to be around.

“I’m not a teenager, Alexa. Whatever you think you might have won this morning, you’re wrong. No woman leads me around by my dick. I promise you I can manage to keep my hands off you if that’s what you’re asking.”

This story had the perfect mix of chemistry, true heartbreak and constant push-pull HOTNESS had my heart racing.

“I’m not going to stand here and have the same argument with you over and over. What I will say is that when I walk out that door I’m walking out of here hating you for throwing me away when the truth is . . . the truth is you love me.”

I flew through the pages of this book. It had so many of the things that make a story great for me. . . off-the-charts chemistry, insane amounts of tension and priceless banter! If you're looking for a suspenseful romance with a sexy billionaire and a badass heroine - I highly recommend this one!
