HOT! AMAZING! SASSY! and CAPTIVATING! are all words that come to mind after reading Misconduct by Penelope Douglas.

Easton Bradbury is a former professional tennis player that recently graduated from Loyola University at the top of her class.  She is smart, sexy and totally independent!!!  I loved Easton’s professional persona when dealing with the good ole boys of New Orleans and yet she was able to put them in their place at the drop of a hat! She is a class act, sassy and a survivor.

Tyler Mareck is at the top of his game and use to people following his lead. He has built a very successful worldwide construction company and rubs elbows with many world leaders.  Born into money, life could have been easy for Tyler but he is a man looking to make his own way and gain power while doing it.  Tyler has conquered the corporate world and now has his sights set on Washington D.C. 

I loved that I’d shut her up for once. She was fun, and I enjoyed peeling away her layers.

Easton has just landed a great teaching position in the elite private school that is willing to let her progressive teaching theories fly.  Life has a funny way of throwing us curve balls and just when you least expect it! So as luck would have it, one of her students is Christian Marek, son of Tyler Marek. The degrees of separation are strong at work at their first meet the teacher night.  You see this is the second time Mr. Marek and Ms. Bradbury have met AND boy oh boy can you feel the thick attraction.

What the hell are we doing? I couldn't get involved with a parent, and even if I did, it couldn't be him...I enjoyed him too much...

The story became a fast ride of high stakes.  Both Tyler and Easton fought their attraction since it was wrong on so many levels!  Not only would it ruin their professional careers BUT Tyler was finally building a bond with his son.

Life was scarier - and harder - when you had things you were afraid to lose.

The emotions and electricity that fly off the pages is incredible.  You literally feel all the emotions each character is experiencing.  Ms. Douglas is a truly gifted author that’s words come to life time and time again.  If you are looking for a totally captivating standalone MISCONDUCT is your next read!
